How the Free Trial Works

Summary

Overview: Every new Pippify workspace starts on a free trial with Growth plan features. No card is needed. The trial has an end date and an outcome cap. Settings › Billing shows both.

Prerequisites:

• You created a new Pippify workspace.

How Pippin Decides

1. While the trial runs and the outcome cap isn't reached, Pippin works as on the Growth plan.
2. When the trial reaches its outcome cap, Pippin keeps answering leads, but stops drafting new quotes and booking links until you subscribe.
3. When the trial end date passes, the workspace becomes read-only. Pippin stops sending until you subscribe.

Limits

• The trial includes Growth features: WhatsApp, SMS, Full auto and CRM connectors. AI voice and Priority support are Scale features and aren't in the trial.
• The trial has no user limit.
• You can't buy outcome packs during the trial.
• Quotes always wait for your approval, on the trial and on every plan.

Step-by-Step Instructions

Step 1: Check your trial status

1. Look for the trial reminder at the top of any page. It shows the days left and how many trial outcomes you have used.
2. As the Admin, open Settings › Billing. The plan card shows Free trial (Growth features) with the end date and the days left.
3. Usage this cycle shows the trial outcomes you have used out of the cap.

Step 2: Dismiss or act on the trial reminder

1. Click the close button on the reminder to hide it. It comes back the next day.
2. As the Admin, click Subscribe on the reminder to open Settings › Billing. Sales Managers and Sales Reps see Ask your workspace admin to upgrade. instead.

Step 3: Subscribe before or after the trial ends

1. Open Settings › Billing and choose a plan under Plans. See How to Subscribe or Change Your Plan.
2. During the trial, the Monthly plan cards show a first-month discount. A promo code replaces that offer only when it saves you more.
3. When you subscribe, the trial ends at once and your first paid cycle starts.

Verify It Worked

Success criteria:

• During the trial, the badge next to Billing shows Trial.
• After you subscribe, the badge shows Active and the page shows "Your subscription is active."

Troubleshooting

Common errors

• "Trial cap reached: quotes and bookings are not drafted until you subscribe.": you used all trial outcomes. Fix: subscribe under Settings › Billing.
• "Your free trial reached its … -outcome cap. Subscribe under Settings > Billing to continue drafting quotes and bookings.": an action that drafts a quote or booking link was refused because of the cap. Fix: subscribe.
• "Your free trial has ended. Pippin has stopped sending and this workspace is read-only until you subscribe.": the trial end date passed. Fix: the Admin subscribes under Settings › Billing.

Limitations & considerations

• Pippify emails the workspace owner when the trial starts and again before it ends.
