Summary
Overview: Coach can find leads who have gone quiet and write a nudge for one of them. Coach never sends the message. You copy the draft or open the lead's conversation in the Inbox and send it yourself.
Prerequisites:
- Access to Pippify Coach.
- Leads in your workspace.
How Coach Decides
- A lead counts as quiet when there has been no message in either direction for a number of days. If you don't say how many, Coach uses 3 days. You can ask for any number from 1 to 90.
- Coach leaves out leads marked won or lost, archived leads, leads a person has taken over from Pippin, and leads newer than the quiet period.
- The quietest leads are listed first.
- When you pick a lead, Coach reads that lead's conversation before it writes anything.
- Coach writes the draft for the lead's channel:
- SMS and Messenger: 2–3 short sentences, plain text, no greeting and no signature.
- Email, Facebook Lead Ads and web forms: a short greeting, then the message. No sign-off, because your email signature is added when you send.
- A nudge reopens the conversation. It refers to what was said before and gives the customer one clear reason to reply.
- If a draft needs a price, date, inclusion or policy, Coach uses only what it finds in your knowledge base.
- If the lead has opted out, Coach tells you and does not write an unprompted message. If a person has taken over the lead, Coach mentions it.
Limits
- Coach drafts only. It never sends messages and never changes leads.
- The list searches every lead in the workspace and shows up to 20 leads.
- Searching by name finds leads by name, company or email address, needs at least two characters, and returns up to 10 matches. Archived leads are not included.
Step-by-Step Instructions
Step 1: Find quiet leads
- Open Pippify Coach.
- Click the Chase quiet leads card. Coach sends "Who has gone quiet lately, and can you draft a follow-up for one of them?"
- Or type your own request, such as "Who has been quiet for 7 days?"
- A Quiet leads card lists each lead with its company, channel and how many days it has been quiet.
Step 2: Ask for a draft
- Tell Coach which lead to nudge, for example "Draft a nudge for Maria".
- If more than one lead matches, Coach shows Matching leads and asks which one you mean.
- Coach writes the message and shows a Re-engagement draft card.
- To change the wording, ask Coach, for example "Make it shorter" or "Mention our December promo".
Step 3: Send it yourself
- Click Copy on the draft card. The button shows Copied.
- Click Open in Inbox to open the lead's conversation.
- Paste the draft into the reply box, check it, and send. See How to Reply to a Lead From the Inbox.
Other things you can ask
- "Summarise my conversation with Acme Travel." Coach writes a 3–6 bullet summary: what the customer wants, key facts, where things stand and a suggested next step.
- "Draft a reply to Maria's last message." Coach shows a Draft reply card with Copy and Open in Inbox.
Verify It Worked
Success criteria:
- The Quiet leads card lists leads, or Coach says none were found.
- Clicking a lead opens its conversation in the Inbox.
- Your sent message appears in the lead's conversation.
Troubleshooting
Common errors
- "No leads matched.": no lead fits the search or the quiet period. Fix: ask for a longer quiet period, or check the spelling of the name.
- Coach won't write a nudge for a lead: the lead has opted out. Fix: respect the opt-out. See What Happens When a Customer Opts Out.
Limitations & considerations
- A lead shown in the list might already be on a follow-up sequence. Check the lead before you send a manual nudge. See How to See Who Is on a Sequence and Why It Stopped.
- Copy may be blocked by your browser's clipboard permission. If so, select the draft text and copy it by hand.
