Summary

Overview: Every time someone submits one of your web forms, Pippify saves the answers and creates a lead. You can read every submission of a form on its Submissions page, and work the lead itself in the Inbox.

Prerequisites:

  • You are signed in as the workspace Admin.
  • You have a published web form.

Step-by-Step Instructions

Step 1: Open a form's submissions

  1. In the sidebar, go to Settings › Channels and click the Web forms tile.
  2. On the Web forms card, click Open Form Builder.
  3. On the Web Forms page, each card shows how many submissions the form has.
  4. Click the ⋮ menu on the form card and choose Submissions.

Step 2: Read the list

  1. The page title shows the form name, Submissions and the total count.
  2. Each row shows Submitted at and up to the first four answers.
  3. Newest submissions are at the top. If there are more than 20, use ‹ Prev and Next › to move between pages.

Step 3: See one submission in full

  1. Click a row, or View.
  2. The Submission detail window shows the date and time and every answer.
  3. Close the window with the ×.

Step 4: Work the lead

  1. Go to the Inbox. Each submission is also a lead, with the subject Form submission - and the form name.
  2. Open the lead to see the answers in the conversation, reply, and track it like any other lead.

Verify It Worked

Success criteria:

  • After a test submission, the form's submission count goes up by one.
  • The submission shows at the top of the Submissions page, and a matching lead is in the Inbox.

Troubleshooting

Common errors

  • No submissions yet.: nobody has submitted this form. Check that the form is Published and that you shared the right link.
  • A column you expected is missing: the list shows only the first four answers. Click the row to see all of them.

Limitations & considerations

  • Only the Admin can open the Submissions page. Other roles see each submission's lead in the Inbox (Sales Reps also in Leads when the lead is assigned to them).
  • Use the back arrow at the top of the Submissions page to open the form in the builder.
  • You can't edit or export submissions from this page. Work the lead in the Inbox or Leads instead.
  • Unanswered optional fields don't show in the submission.
