Summary

Overview: Your brand identity is how your business looks in the emails Pippin sends: your logo, brand colours, company name and email signature. You set it on the Branding page under Settings › Branding.

Prerequisites:

  • You are the workspace Admin.
  • Optional: your logo as a PNG or JPG file under 2 MB (200×60 px works best).

Step-by-Step Instructions

Step 1: Open the Branding page

  1. Click Settings › Branding in the left menu.
  2. The Branding page opens with the cards Logo, Brand colours, Company name and Email signature. The Email preview card sits beside them (below them on a narrow screen).
  3. A bar at the bottom of the page shows Unsaved changes or All changes saved, with the Cancel and Save buttons.

Step 2: Upload your logo

  1. In Logo, click Upload Logo and pick a PNG or JPG file.
  2. You see "Logo uploaded." The logo is saved right away.
  3. To take the logo off, click Remove. In the Remove your logo? window ("Emails and documents show your company name instead until you upload a new logo."), click Remove again, or Cancel to keep it.
  4. You see "Logo removed." The logo is removed right away; you don't need to click Save. Other changes you haven't saved stay unsaved.

Step 3: Set your brand colours

  1. In Brand colours, set Primary Color and Secondary Color.
  2. Click the colour square to pick a colour, or type a hex code such as #1a73e8 in the box next to it.

Step 4: Check your company name

  1. In Company name, enter your Company Name.
  2. It shows as your brand in every email Pippin sends, for example "Pippin at" your company name.

Step 5: Write your email signature

  1. In Email signature, type your signature. It is added to all outgoing emails.
  2. Use the toolbar to format it: Font, Size, Bold, Italic, Underline, Text color, Bullet list, Numbered list, Insert link and Insert image.
  3. To add a link, select text, click Insert link, type the address and click Insert.
  4. To add an image, such as a social icon, click Insert image and pick a PNG or JPG under 2 MB.

Step 6: Preview and save

  1. Check Email preview. It shows a sample email with your primary colour, logo (or company name) and signature.
  2. Click Save in the bar at the bottom of the page. Save and Cancel turn on only when the bar shows Unsaved changes.
  3. You see "Changes saved successfully." and the bar shows All changes saved.
  4. To undo changes you haven't saved, click Cancel.

Other ways to set your brand

  • Setup wizard: Pippin keeps the company name you gave at sign-up and looks for your logo in your website's header. If it finds one, the Logo line in the setup list shows Logo found and the logo is saved as yours; if not, the line tells you to add it later in Branding. You can change the Company name line there with Change. See How to Complete the Setup Wizard.
  • My Account › Company info: the Admin can also change the Company Name there. See How to Update Company Info.
  • Pippify Coach: ask Coach to change your company name, colours or email signature, then apply its suggestion. Coach can't change the logo. See How to Apply or Dismiss a Change Coach Suggests.

Verify It Worked

Success criteria:

  • Email preview shows your logo, colour and signature.
  • The bar at the bottom shows All changes saved.
  • After you reload the page, your changes are still there.
  • The next email Pippin sends uses your company name and signature.

Troubleshooting

Common errors

  • "Only PNG and JPG images are allowed.": Fix: save the image as PNG or JPG and upload it again. SVG and WebP aren't accepted.
  • "Image must be under 2 MB.": Fix: make the file smaller and try again.
  • "Logo upload failed. Please try again." or "Image upload failed. Please try again.": Fix: check your connection and upload again.
  • A red message above the cards after Save (for example "Save failed. Please try again."): the save was refused. Fix: check that each colour is a # followed by six letters or digits (for example #1a73e8) and that Company Name has at least 2 characters, then click Save again.
  • "Could not remove the logo. Please try again.": the logo was not removed. Fix: click Remove again.

Limitations & considerations

  • Uploading or removing a logo saves at once. Colours, company name and signature need Save.
  • If you close or reload the tab with unsaved changes, your browser asks you to confirm.
  • Costed quote documents you haven't sent yet are updated with your new company name and primary colour.
  • Pippin's tone of voice is set in AI Studio, not on this page. See How to Set Pippin's Tone of Voice.
