How to Sign Out or Switch Workspace

Summary

Overview: Sign out of Pippify from the profile menu. If your account belongs to more than one workspace, you switch workspace by signing out and signing in again, then choosing the other workspace.

Prerequisites:

  • You are signed in to Pippify.
  • To switch workspace, you are a member of more than one workspace.

Step-by-Step Instructions

Step 1: Sign out

  1. Click your avatar in the top-right corner.
  2. Click Sign Out.
  3. Pippify signs you out and opens the sign-in page.

Step 2: Switch to another workspace

  1. Sign out (Step 1).
  2. Sign in with your email and password.
  3. On Choose a workspace, each workspace shows its name and your role in it. Click the workspace you want to open.
  4. Pippify opens the Dashboard of that workspace.

Verify It Worked

Success criteria:

  • After signing out, you see the sign-in page.
  • After switching, the role under your name in the top bar matches the role shown for that workspace on Choose a workspace.

Troubleshooting

Common errors

  • Choose a workspace doesn't appear: your account belongs to only one workspace, so Pippify opens it straight away. Fix: if you expected another workspace, ask its Admin to invite you.
  • "Your account has been suspended." (after you pick a workspace on Choose a workspace): the Admin of that workspace suspended you. Fix: ask that Admin to reactivate you, or pick another workspace.
  • "Tenant selection token is invalid or expired.": the Choose a workspace page was left open too long. Fix: sign in again and pick the workspace straight away.

Limitations & considerations

  • There is no workspace switcher inside the app. Signing out and in again is the way to switch.
  • The Switch App button (the grid icon in the top bar) opens another app. It doesn't change your Pippify workspace.
  • Pippify can also sign you out by itself after a period of inactivity. See Why Was I Signed Out?
